Danvikshem is a care and nursing home for the elderly, operated by the Danviks Hospital Foundation – a state-founded, non-profit organization with roots dating back to the 1500s. All surplus is reinvested into the operations, ensuring our focus remains constant: to create quality of life for the people we serve.
Approximately 280 employees work together here in a unique environment at the entrance to Stockholm, reflecting who we want to be – a place characterized by warmth, quality, and long-term commitment.
About the workplaceThe HR department is located within central administration, alongside finance, IT, and admin. HR currently consists of an HR Manager, Payroll Specialist, and Office Service/Reception. We are a small central administration team working closely together, helping each other when needed. The role of HR Generalist has been newly established.
Danvikshem is a member of the employer association Sobona and applies the collective agreement HÖK/General Provisions.
About the roleThis is a role for you who wants to be part of developing, improving, and building up.
As an HR Generalist, you work close to the operations and support our managers with questions across the entire HR spectrum. At the same time, you contribute to developing our ways of working, processes, and system support in close collaboration with the HR Manager.
You will:
- Be a secure and proactive support for managers in HR matters
- Contribute to the development of HR processes and the HR function's ways of working
- Contribute to digitalization and smarter, more efficient ways of working
- Contribute to developing and strengthening communication to managers and employees
This is a new role, which means you will have the opportunity, together with the HR Manager, to influence both content and direction.

We believe you:
- Have a minimum three-year university education in HR/personnel
- Have at least 3 years of experience in broad, operation-close HR work
- Have experience supporting and coaching managers in various HR matters
- Have experience in HR work from elderly care, healthcare, or other personnel-intensive operations
- Have experience participating in the development of processes, routines, or ways of working
- Communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
It is meritorious if you have worked with occupational health and rehabilitation, and have experience working with different system support within the HR field.
