Are you ready to help shape the future of SAS? SAS is undergoing a transformational journey, creating exciting opportunities for finance professionals who want to make a real impact. We are currently expanding our Business Control team and are looking for two Business Controllers to support different parts of the SAS organization. Both roles offer extensive opportunities to work closely with senior leaders, influence decision-making, and contribute to SAS's continued transformation and long-term success.

Challenges you will work on

As a Business Controller, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization, acting as a trusted business partner to operational leaders. You will combine analytical excellence with business understanding to improve performance, increase financial transparency, and support initiatives that strengthen SAS’s competitiveness. This role offers significant exposure to senior leaders across SAS and the opportunity to influence decisions in one of Scandinavia’s most recognized brands.

What you will do

  • Partner with business leaders and management teams to support decision-making and drive performance.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Analyze business performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Develop business cases and evaluate strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and resource allocation.
  • Drive and follow up on cost and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and refine KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting.
  • Support negotiations and strategic projects through financial analysis and benchmarking.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting tools.
  • Educate and support managers to strengthen financial understanding and accountability.

The Team

You will join a high-performing and collaborative Business Control team that works closely with leaders and stakeholders throughout SAS. We value curiosity, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement, and we believe that the best results are achieved through strong partnerships across the business.

To be successful we believe you have

  • 3–7 years of relevant experience within Business Control, Management Consulting, Transaction Services, Audit, or similar analytical roles.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Experience working closely with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in understanding business drivers.
  • Experience from a dynamic and fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • A university degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, along with experience from BI and planning tools such as Power BI, Anaplan, or similar platforms.
  • Fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language.

This role is particularly well suited for individuals looking to take the next step from consulting, audit, transaction services, or a similar analytical environment into a highly business-oriented finance role with significant exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making.

Who you are

We are looking for someone who enjoys combining analytical thinking with business partnering. You are curious, driven, and motivated by creating value through insights and collaboration. You build trust quickly, communicate complex topics in a clear and engaging way, and are comfortable challenging existing ways of working when improvements can be made. You thrive in an environment where you are expected to take ownership, drive initiatives forward, and contribute to both strategic discussions and operational execution.
