About the Role
As a paralegal at AWA, you will work in close collaboration with colleagues in various team constellations and manage several parallel client relationships, contributing to their development and deepening. The role involves close cooperation with lawyers, clients, authorities, and national agents.
You will become part of a team consisting of highly experienced and knowledgeable colleagues in the industry. We offer an inclusive work environment with a warm welcome and good conditions for you to feel secure in your role. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparation and filing of trademark and design applications with authorities, as well as forwarding instructions to local agents
- Deadline monitoring
- Handling and preparation of invoices
- Receiving, coordinating, and assessing correspondence from authorities, clients, and national agents
- Drafting responses to official actions, primarily regarding classification and formalities
- Preparation and filing of documents in note-file matters before PRV, WIPO, and EUIPO
- Analysis of clients' trademark portfolios in connection with business development and new sales
- Preparation of quotations and cost estimates
- Participation in the development of process documentation and routines to increase efficiency
- Assisting in the preparation of legal documents and agreements
- Opportunity to assist in intellectual property disputes
You will report to the Head of Paralegals. The team is geographically dispersed, with the intended placement for this role at one of our offices in Gothenburg or Stockholm. The position is full-time with a start date in September 2026.
Who are you?
We would prefer that you have experience from a similar role and now wish to further develop and specialize. Experience in intellectual property is an advantage.
You are solution-oriented and structured, with the ability to identify efficient working methods. You have a positive attitude, are meticulous and responsible, as well as unpretentious and helpful where needed. You work proactively and thrive in collaboration with others. You express yourself fluently in speech and writing in both Swedish and English, with a good business level.
