Do you want to be at the center of events in the work on the EU's cyber and hybrid issues? We offer a qualified and developmental role where you work with current EU policy initiatives and regulations, in close collaboration with colleagues and other actors. Here you will contribute to important decisions and long-term solutions that strengthen society's cybersecurity.

The tasks primarily consist of cyber issues related to EU matters. This involves handling cases concerning existing and new EU policy initiatives and regulations, either independently or together with colleagues. This may include, for example, cyber crisis management to rule development within areas such as the NIS 2 Directive, the Cybersecurity Act, and simplification initiatives for cyber-related rules. You will also contribute to other parts of the unit's work regarding cyber and hybrid issues.
The Unit for Cyber and Hybrid Issues currently has approximately 20 employees and is responsible for the coordination, steering, and development of issues concerning cyber defense, cybersecurity, psychological defense, and hybrid issues.

Your background
We are looking for you who have a relevant academic degree or alternatively another relevant degree or education that the employer considers equivalent. You have current experience of the EU's organization and processes as well as experience of EU work. You also have experience from working within state operations. It is an advantage if you have experience of working with cyber issues and have handled administrative tasks within the Government Offices, although legal competence is also meritorious. It is a requirement for the position that you can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English.

Interviews will take place in week 27.
The employment is for an indefinite period with an initial 6-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
The position is classified and a security clearance with register check will be conducted before a decision on employment is made. You must be a Swedish citizen, but may have a foreign background.
