Do you want to work in an international environment where you can combine reporting, analysis, and close collaboration with operations? We are currently looking for an Interim Business Controller for our client, headquartered in central Stockholm.
This is a broad Business Controller role focused on reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up for both the headquarters and operations across several markets. The assignment initially runs for 12 months with a good possibility of extension.
We believe you have experience from Business Control and thrive in a role where you work closely with both the business operations and the numbers. Additionally, experience from an international environment, group structure, or listed company operations is considered a merit.
Practical Information
- Location: Central Stockholm
- Hybrid Work: Approximately 3 days per week in the office
- Assignment: Consulting assignment, approx. 12 months with possibility of extension
- Start: August 2026
About the Role
You will become part of a controlling team responsible for reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost follow-up at the group level.
The role combines analysis and operational dialogue with operational responsibility for collecting, quality-assuring, and compiling financial information from various sources. You will work closely with the business side regarding follow-up, budgets, and forecasts while contributing to the development and efficiency of processes and reporting.
The company is in an exciting phase of development where several reporting and follow-up processes are being automated, offering the opportunity to influence future ways of working and create even better decision-making foundations. Example of Tasks
- Reporting and follow-up for companies and operations within the group
- Collection, quality assurance, and analysis of financial data
- Cost follow-up and profit & loss analysis
- Budgeting, forecasting, and planning work
- Sales follow-up and business analysis
- Personnel budget and ongoing follow-up
- Support during quarterly reporting
- Currency analysis and follow-up of currency effects
- Work in budgeting and planning tools
- Development of reporting flows, processes, and data quality
- Superuser responsibility in planning and budgeting tools
We are looking for someone who
- Has good experience in Business Control, financial controlling, or financial follow-up
- Thrives in combining analysis with operational controlling work
- Has very good skills in Excel
- Has experience in budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up work
- Understands accounting and financial flows
- Is structured, self-initiative, and quality-conscious
- Has good system proficiency and works comfortably with various tools
- Fluent in Swedish and has good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
Merits include experience with Power BI, budgeting and planning tools, and work in international organizations.
