About the RoleYou will step into a central role in a strategic initiative aimed at producing a feasibility study and a decision-making basis for establishing a joint Shared Service Center (SSC) within Finance. The starting point is fragmented, with a need for increased standardization, efficiency, quality, and compliance. Here, you will work closely with the business in a complex organization where changes within Finance, HR, and Payroll are occurring in parallel.
You will drive the analysis forward, structure decision-making options, and contribute to shaping a future SSC solution with clear governance, the right service content, and a sustainable operating model. This role suits you if you thrive at the intersection of strategy and execution, and want to influence an important decision with significant organizational impact.
Responsibilities- You define the target state, scope, and governing principles for a Shared Service Center, including possible delivery models such as in-house, outsourcing, or hybrid.
- You lead the mapping of the current state regarding processes, costs, resources, and IT support.
- You develop a recommended solution focusing on organization, governance, and service content.
- You develop and quality-assure the business case, including effects, investments, risks, and roadmap.
- You drive data-driven analyses and ensure comparability and standardization in methods and documentation.
- You contribute to the design of future processes, organizational structure, and operating model.
- You work closely with the steering group and key stakeholders to create anchoring, alignment, and decision-making maturity at the executive and board levels.
- You contribute to the implementation plan and clarify governance, mandates, and escalation paths.
- You have experience with Shared Service Centers, for example in design, establishment, or optimization.
- You have experience with Finance processes, such as accounting, AP/AR, and controlling.
- You have experience with feasibility studies and developing business cases.
- You have documented experience working in transformation or change programs.
- You have experience with cross-functional initiatives in larger organizations.
- You have strong skills in structuring data-driven analyses, current state mappings, and decision-making documents.
- You have a good understanding of the interplay between processes, organization, and IT support, such as SAP S/4HANA.
- You are accustomed to placing solutions in a strategic and business context.
- You communicate fluently in Swedish.
- Experience with outsourcing, BPO, or hybrid models.
- Experience from the retail or grocery industry.
- Experience in quantifying effects and cost savings.
- Experience with process mapping, baseline analyses, and target state design.
- Understanding of efficiency, standardization, and automation-driven changes within the finance function.
