We are now looking for two student employees for our HR department in Upplands-Bro Municipality!
Here, you will have the opportunity to put your HR knowledge into practice and work on real issues within recruitment, labor law, working environment, and business development. We offer a flexible student position of approximately 15 hours per week, adapted to fit alongside full-time studies. Here, you will gain a broad insight into the many aspects of HR work and the opportunity to develop within a socially important organization that makes a difference for residents and employees every day.
The HR department is centrally organized within the Municipal Executive Office. Our department brings together broad HR expertise and payroll specialists. Together, we support the municipality's managers and operations. We handle everything from recruitment and workforce planning to payroll management, working environment, rehabilitation, and labor law. Here, you will become part of a flat-hierarchy team where collaboration, development, and learning are in focus.
Job Responsibilities
As a student employee, you will have a varied role where you support various colleagues within the HR department based on their areas of responsibility. You will have the opportunity to work with several parts of HR and develop both your skills and understanding of the professional role.
Your tasks may include, for example:
- Following up on and supporting cases related to labor law, rehabilitation, misconduct, and reassignments
- Supporting or taking responsibility for parts of the recruitment process
- Contributing to HR-related projects and development initiatives
- Assisting with documentation and updating of routines and HR materials
- Participating in the development of HR processes and policy documents
- Assisting with daily administrative tasks within HR
- Helping with background materials, statistics, and analyses within various HR areas
- Supporting payroll specialists in administrative tasks and processes related to payroll management
The role is adapted based on the organization's needs and your experience, giving you the opportunity to get a broad and educational introduction to HR work.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is studying the Human Resources Management program or another education deemed equivalent by the employer
- Has completed at least a few terms of your education
- Can work approximately 15 hours per week alongside your studies
- Has good administrative skills and works in a structured and meticulous manner
- Expresses yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
- Has good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
We believe you are curious, committed, and eager to develop within HR. You take responsibility for your tasks, plan your work in a structured way, and enjoy collaborating with many different people.
You are not afraid to ask questions, are happy to offer your own ideas, and contribute to developing methods and processes. At the same time, you are receptive, flat-hierarchy, and have an easy time building good relationships with colleagues and partners. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

About the Position
The position is a student role of approximately 15 hours per week. The work takes place on-site, giving you the opportunity to be part of the daily operations and get to know both colleagues and the organization. The start date is August 17, 2026, or as agreed.
