We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager for an exciting assignment at a government agency.

Assignment Description

The agency requires a Senior Project Manager to lead the initiative to review the organization and working methods for planning and monitoring working hours, responsibility distribution, and primarily the scheduling process linked to payroll.

The Project Manager must have a broad and deep understanding of development projects and experience leading complex projects or assignments. Your main responsibilities will be to lead and coordinate the work within the project team. You will also serve as a presenter in the steering group and maintain extensive dialogue with other stakeholders. A key part of the assignment is to implement the new organization and develop governing and supporting documents to establish effective working methods and processes in this area.

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the most optimal organization, including processes, workflows, roles, and responsibilities for schedule planning within the agency. You will also create support materials, for example for managers, to help calculate resource needs for schedulers. This support material should assist in determining optimal staffing levels and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience implementing the Heroma schedule and payroll system in a government agency with irregular working hours.
  • Experience introducing organizations and roles for schedule management.
  • Experience leading complex projects or assignments, with overall responsibility for execution, including management, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Extensive experience leading large IT development projects.
  • Extensive experience with agile working methods.
  • Very good understanding of schedule and payroll processes, payroll services, schedule management, and HR processes.
  • Fluent in Swedish (both written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in change management.
  • Experience in organizational development.
  • Experience working with organizational changes within schedule management.
  • Experience with information security in government, municipalities, regions, or larger companies (> 100 employees).
