We are looking for you who want to be part of our journey to create positive meal experiences for our children in preschool, students in school, and care recipients in Hässleholm Municipality. We prepare and deliver approximately 10,000 meals daily to preschools, schools, and care facilities. As one of our meal development specialists will be on parental leave, we need a substitute.

What we offer you!

We offer you a developing role and are looking for you who have a genuine interest in food, meals, and people. In this position, you will work operationally with menu planning, offerings, and follow-up of meals served in preschools, schools, and care facilities. You will also participate in the strategic work regarding the development of the operations. As a development specialist, you will be a key link in the development work towards the organization's goals. You will participate in and drive projects and processes, lead working groups, and arrange activities and training. You are also expected to monitor the external environment and follow developments in relevant areas. Operational development is a broad field, and assignments may change over time depending on needs.

The position we offer is a 100% temporary contract during the period 2026-11-16 to 2028-01-07. Your workplace will be in Hässleholm.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are driven and engaged and have a genuine interest in food and meals. It is important that you can inspire your surroundings, work independently based on assignments, and have the ability to drive projects. It is significant that you are good at collaborating, have the ability to meet others, and adapt to different situations and contexts. You are a skilled communicator and can adapt your communication in both speech and writing depending on the recipient. We would like you to have previous experience of similar work, preferably from public meal operations.

We are looking for you who;

  • have a relevant university education in nutrition science, dietetics, gastronomy, or other education and work experience that the employer considers equivalent.
  • have very good digital competence and experience working with system support for meal operations, as you will work in the nutrition data system Matilda and other systems.
  • have good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing, as well as good documentation skills.
  • have a B driver's license as you may need to visit our facilities spread across Hässleholm Municipality.

Merits if you;

  • have worked in the nutrition data system Matilda.
  • have experience leading groups.
  • have previous experience of similar work, preferably within public meal operations.
  • recently have experience working with development and change work.
  • have knowledge and experience in environmental and sustainability work related to food and meals.
  • have practical experience working in a kitchen.

The Technical Administration is responsible for creating safe, functional, and sustainable environments for the municipality's inhabitants, employees, and visitors. We work broadly and coordinated within several important service areas including property, street and park, meals, and local care. Within the meal department, approximately 200 employees work with preparing and serving meals. We are located in preschools, primary schools, leisure centers, high schools, and within the care administration. With a focus on service and approach, we solve the operation's needs with high competence and visible quality.
