About the assignment

We are currently looking for a controller for a part-time assignment starting in September 2026 for a public organization. The role involves providing financial support to a service-oriented administration and entails broad responsibility within financial management.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Budgeting, forecasting, annual accounts, and ongoing financial monitoring.
• Financial analysis, cost calculations, and decision-support materials.
• Monitoring investment and development projects.
• Providing qualified financial support to operations.
• Contributing to the development and quality assurance of financial management.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a relevant university degree in economics, or other education combined with experience considered equivalent.
• Has several years of experience in qualified controller work within municipal service, technical, or urban planning operations.
• Has good experience with budgeting, forecasting, annual accounts, and financial monitoring.
• Is accustomed to working independently and taking responsibility for qualified controller tasks.
• Communicates very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is an advantage if you also have

• Experience with investment and development projects, including costing and financial monitoring.
• Experience with municipal financial systems and decision-support systems.

Assignment details

• Location: Skurup
• Start date: September 1, 2026
• Duration: Until February 28, 2027
• Hours: 20 hours per week
• Work format: On-site with possibilities for some hybrid work
