Do you enjoy diving into numbers, finding patterns, and ensuring contracts deliver maximum value? As a Contract Controller here, you will play a key role in analyzing procurement data, monitoring contract compliance, and identifying discrepancies.

About the role and your responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be to conduct systematic, regular, and extended follow-ups of framework agreements for goods and services. The purpose of these follow-ups is to structurally monitor and control how suppliers meet the requirements set out in the procurement process. You will also contribute to identifying development needs for future procurements, always keeping the municipality's best interests in focus. Together with your colleagues, you will plan, prioritize, and execute contract follow-ups based on a shared framework agreement follow-up plan. You will also collaborate with the procurement specialists at the Procurement Unit to maximize the effectiveness of the municipality's contracts.

You will have the opportunity to influence the content of your work. The focus will be on the Procurement Unit's change management initiatives and ongoing operational work. You will also collaborate with our Procurement Analyst to analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to utilize AI to streamline the analyses performed in this role.

We are looking for you

You have a post-secondary education in relevant areas, such as economics or law, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have at least two years of experience with audits or other contract follow-ups within municipal operations, or work that can be considered comparable. Experience working with statistics, financial data, contract follow-ups, and sustainability work is meritorious. Experience working against welfare crime and labor market crime is also considered an advantage. Some investigative work may also be part of the role.

We are looking for someone who enjoys analyzing statistics and procurement data, following up on, and correcting discrepancies to ensure contracts function as optimally as possible. You are unpretentious, structured, driven, and have the ability to present and analyze figures and report them in a way that is appreciated by both our operations and suppliers.

As a person, you are sensitive to the needs of different operations and have the ability to place numbers and statistics in a logical context. You collaborate and work seamlessly both within and outside the Procurement Unit and have an easy time building positive relationships with others. You are business-minded and capable of having direct contact with the municipality's suppliers, both individually and as part of a larger contract follow-up group. You are interested in receiving feedback from the municipality's various operations to improve contract compliance and enjoy sharing knowledge about how the contract is intended to work in practice together with your colleagues.

You want to actively contribute to the Procurement Unit's journey toward becoming a modern procurement unit that focuses on the needs of operations and good public business. You have the ability to quickly grasp both procurement-technical and more general complex issues, always keeping the client in focus.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities and suitability.
