Main Task Municipal Leadership is one of Ängelholm Municipality's four main tasks, with a guiding and supporting function in relation to the other main tasks. Within this main task, municipality-wide functions are gathered, including the Secretariat. The Secretariat works with democracy, transparency, registration and handling of public documents, citizen influence, the municipal case process, and support for political decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES
There is now an opportunity to contribute to the valuable work of the Secretariat in the role of Registrar. The Secretariat ensures that the municipality's case management is legally secure, functioning well, and accessible to the staff organization, elected officials, media, and citizens. Together with colleagues at the Secretariat, you form the hub of the municipality's information flow.
As a Registrar, you receive, handle, and register incoming documents. You assist in releasing public documents and conduct confidentiality assessments. As a system support, you use among other things Ciceron.
The assignment also includes work with quality assurance of our registers and development of our working methods for diary registration, in accordance with the legal requirements for document management and with the principle of public access as a starting point.
You support, advise, and train the municipality's operations as needed regarding the handling of public documents and diary registration.
You work in close collaboration with colleagues at the Secretariat, who besides the Registrar's duties are also responsible for archive management and board secretariat duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have a university or university college education within administration or public administration, for example a degree in archival, information, or library science. Alternatively, you have comparable competence acquired through work experience and assessed by the employer as equivalent.
You have good knowledge of public access and confidentiality as well as the laws and regulations governing information handling in public operations. You have good digital competence and it is meritorious if you have previous experience working in diary and case management systems as well as confidentiality assessment.
To thrive and succeed in the role, you are a person driven by structure and precision. You express yourself well in speech and writing, have good collaboration skills, and a willingness to provide good service. You plan and prioritize your work consciously, effectively, and sustainably.
