Accountant for EC Health Club

EC Health Club is growing, and we are now looking for a meticulous, independent, and structured accountant who wants to help develop our finance function.

About the Role

As an accountant at EC Health Club, you will play a key role in the company's ongoing financial work. You will be responsible for bookkeeping, reconciliations, VAT, reporting, and preparing financial statements prior to audit.

We are looking for someone who is confident in accounting tasks and can work independently, while also being part of a team where finance, operations, and management collaborate closely.

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Payroll administration
• Accounts receivable and payable
• Bank and account reconciliations
• VAT reporting
• Accruals and deferrals
• Monthly reporting
• Preparation of financial statements and audit materials
• Contact with auditors and other external parties
• Support in financial monitoring and reporting
• Contributing to the development of routines and structure within the finance function

Experience with corporate structures, group accounting, or mergers is considered an asset.

Who We Are Looking For

• Relevant education in economics/accounting or equivalent experience
• Experience with ongoing bookkeeping and year-end closing
• Meticulous, responsible, and structured
• Capable of working independently and taking ownership of your areas
• Good understanding of VAT, reconciliations, and accruals
• Thrives in a dynamic company where you get to help build structure

Experience from companies with multiple units, group structures, or rapid growth is a plus.
