Your Role
As a Risk Control Specialist, you work independently and proactively to ensure effective risk management across several different savings banks. You serve as a qualified support to both the organization and the board of directors.
Examples of responsibilities:
- Identify, analyze, and follow up on significant risks
- Review the banks' risk management and propose improvements
- Ensure that risks are monitored and reported effectively
- Support the work on risk strategy and risk appetite
The position is located at Finanssupport's office in central Hässleholm, where you will become part of a small team of specialists in risk and compliance.

Your Profile
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant academic education in economics/finance or equivalent
- Experience in banking, finance, or audit activities (e.g., risk, internal audit)
- Good communication skills in Swedish, both verbal and written
- A valid driver's license (Category B) and access to a car, as travel to the savings banks is part of the role
As a person, you have strong analytical skills and thrive in an auditing role. You are comfortable presenting facts, data, and highlighting the risks you have identified. You work independently and are accustomed to taking responsibility for planning and structuring your work, while also appreciating the value of collaboration and contributing to a common whole. To succeed in this role, you need a good ability to build relationships and communicate in a way that creates trust.

Finanssupport i Sydsverige AB is a company that provides specialist services in Risk Control and Compliance to seven savings banks in southern Sweden: Ekeby Savings Bank, Ivetofta Savings Bank in Bromölla, Markaryd Savings Bank, Snapphanebygdens Savings Bank, Sparbanken Boken, Sparbanken Eken, and Sölvesborg Mjällby Savings Bank. These same seven savings banks jointly own Finanssupport i Sydsverige AB.
