We are currently recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients, an Accountant for their operations in Malmö. This role is ideal for you who have 2–4 years of experience in accounting and wish to take the next step in your career in a developing and varied position.

As an Accountant, you will become an important part of the finance department, responsible for ongoing accounting while contributing to ensuring high quality in the company's financial processes.

The tasks may vary, but include among other things:

• Ongoing bookkeeping and accounting
• Reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Management of supplier and customer ledgers
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
• VAT and tax declarations
• Assistance in preparing annual reports and audits
• Participation in the development and efficiency improvement of financial processes
• Preparation of financial reports and analyses

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a post-secondary education in economics or accounting
• Has 2–4 years of experience working as an accountant or in a similar role
• Has a good understanding of accounting principles and current regulations
• Has experience with financial systems and good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Is meticulous, analytical, and structured
• Thrives working both independently and collaboratively

• Experience with closing processes
• Knowledge of K2 and K3 regulatory frameworks
• Experience with business and financial systems
• Experience with process improvements within finance
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
