Accountant Wanted for Assignment in Malmö

On behalf of our client, we are now looking for an engaged and independent Accountant for an exciting assignment in Malmö.

We are looking for someone who is cheerful, positive, service-oriented, and thrives on taking personal responsibility. As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and have the ability to drive your work forward independently. It is important that you feel confident in your competence and can take responsibility for your tasks from day one. The role involves significant personal responsibility, while you have support from both the Controller and the Financial Manager.

Responsibilities

The tasks are traditional for an accountant and include, among other things:

Ongoing bookkeeping
Invoicing
Accounts receivable and payable
Payment matching
Customer reminders and follow-up of overdue receivables
Preparation of reports regarding discrepancies, delays, and other financial follow-ups
Participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
Support in the annual reporting process

Qualifications

We would like you to have:

Education in economics/accounting or equivalent experience
A few years of experience working as an accountant
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Good knowledge of business and financial systems
Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
