You will step into an assignment where leadership, governance, and a shared approach are at the center. In a municipal organization with high ambitions regarding trust-based governance and leadership, there is now a need for qualified process support to help managers take the next step together.

The focus is on designing and facilitating a leadership retreat where managers at different levels will create a shared view of the mission, role, leadership, and working methods. The assignment is not about general development work, but about building on extensive change work that has already been carried out and putting a shared vision into practice.

You contribute with structure, methodology, and relevant perspectives, while challenging the group on strategic issues and helping them land on concrete choices for the future. This is an interesting opportunity for you who want to work closely with management in a complex and socially vital operation where your facilitation has a clear impact.

• You plan the structure, content, and process for a leadership retreat focusing on leadership, mission, and a shared approach.
• You drive preparations together with the client through planning and alignment meetings.
• You facilitate dialogues and exercises that help managers create a shared strategic understanding.
• You challenge the group on issues related to municipal governance, leadership in a politically governed organization, and how coordination can be strengthened in a complex operation.
• You help clarify which priorities, approaches, and areas of development are required to reach the vision.
• You document the results from the work and draw up proposals for a roadmap for the continued development work.

• In the last five (5) years, you have completed at least three (3) assignments of a similar nature involving planning, facilitation, and implementation of management or leadership retreats with at least 30 participants.
• You have at least five (5) years of documented experience working with trust-based governance and leadership or business development within a municipal or other politically governed organization.
• You have a good understanding of municipal governance and the conditions in a politically governed organization.
• You have experience in getting different competencies to collaborate and working in organizations with many dependencies and actors.
• You have a good understanding of the mission and role of support functions in operations.

• You have experience leading change or development work where the role and mission of support functions have been a central part.
• You have previously carried out assignments in the current organization or have good knowledge of its governance and development work.
