What we offer you!

As a step in the development according to the activity requirement, we are developing our operations and adding a new role as a supervisor.

During the year, we have created collaboration forms with employers in order to offer our participants opportunities to strengthen their prerequisites for work through step-by-step progression and preparatory measures at a real workplace.

As a supervisor, you will be employed at the Employment Unit and work with supervising and supporting participants during work training and labor market political employment in one of our work groups.

The assignment as a supervisor is both diverse and broad. Here are the key points:

• Be the link between the employer who assigns tasks and duties, the participants, and the Employment Unit.
• Ensure you receive information, routines, safety instructions, and competence development from the employer.
• Plan, lead, and distribute tasks, and create a functional working environment for the participants. Introduce new participants and supervise and support participants in their daily work at the workplace, both practically and theoretically.
• Promote the adaptation and implementation of meaningful tasks for the individual, through a coaching and solution-focused approach, with a clear focus on step-by-step progression and preparation for long-term self-sufficiency.
• Collaborate regularly with labor market coaches and other relevant actors around the participant based on the participant's individual needs, for example at follow-up meetings at the workplace.
• Document according to current legislation and the organization's guidelines.
• Actively develop your own competence in the area and be a resource and recipient for collegial exchange of information, knowledge, and support in the work to improve processes for the individual, employees, and the organization.
• Replace supervisors in other work groups if needed.

We currently collaborate with Hässleholm Miljö, the Technical Administration, and the Culture and Leisure Administration. The tasks therefore differ depending on which employer you are placed with.

Hässleholm Miljö

• Work as an Environmental Informant.
• Inform and educate the public about source separation.
• Maintenance and service at the facility and other environmental rooms in residential areas.

Technical Administration

• Inventorization, maintenance, and cleaning of technical rooms, storage rooms, and machines.

Culture and Leisure Administration

• Maintenance of outdoor environments, gardening, clearing work.
• Maintenance and supervision of hiking trails, bathing areas, and wind shelters.

Employment Period: Project employment from 2026-09-14 to 2027-12-31.

Who are you?

For this role, it is required that you:

• Have post-secondary education in a relevant field, or alternatively, professional experience in the field that the employer deems relevant.
• Hold a Category B driver's license.

Advantageous qualifications:

• Experience in supervising individuals in work training and the ability to work both practically and solution-focused.
• Structured with high collaboration skills.
• Ability to see needs, solutions, and courage to guide others.
• Good physical fitness as the work requires physical activity.
• Local knowledge of Hässleholm Municipality is an advantage.
• Experience in language pedagogy, functional variations, or integration issues is advantageous.

About Us

The Employment Administration is responsible for economic assistance, labor market political measures, and the municipality's adult education. We work strategically with measures that meet the needs of residents and the labor market. The administration's overarching main task is to coordinate processes to contribute to more individuals achieving sustainable self-sufficiency. In the administration, there is Economic Assistance, the Employment Unit, Komvux (Adult Education), and the Southern Vocational University College.

The Employment Unit is responsible for the municipality's labor market political measures. Our overarching task is to help job-seeking residents get jobs through various preparations, coaching, and trying out professions. We focus on those who are far from the labor market and constantly work with method and organizational development. Our goal is to tailor various solutions so that our participants can move on to studies or work as quickly as possible.
