The role of Employment Coach is diverse and broad. However, we have managed to boil it down to a number of key points.

As an Employment Coach, you will among other things:

• Conduct coaching of individuals within the organization's target group based on selected methods.
• Work to design and implement meaningful processes for the individual, with a clear focus on long-term self-sufficiency.
• Collaborate with relevant actors around the participant based on the participant's individual needs, for example during tripartite meetings.
• Document according to current legislation and the organization's guidelines.
• Be active in local environmental scanning and feed information back to the organization that can lead to better processes for the individual, employees, and the organization.
• Be a resource and recipient for collegial exchange of information, knowledge, and support in the work with participants, clients, and other partners.

Your workplace will be at the Employment Unit.

Who are you?

You have experience working with coaching and guidance of individuals on their path to employment or studies. You also have experience and competence in the methods Supported Employment, OCN, and BIP. We are looking for you with post-secondary education in a relevant field combined with professional experience that the employer deems relevant. Above all, you have the ability to stand firm when things get shaky and the courage to guide yourself and others. You are quality-conscious and have the ability to see the big picture.

We are therefore looking for you who are ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the flurry of opportunities.

With the upcoming benefit reform, we are expanding our resources and we need to be prepared to recruit employees who are ready to think outside the famous box. A category B driver's license is required for the job.

About Us

The Employment Administration is responsible for financial assistance, labor market policy measures, and the municipality's adult education. We work strategically with measures that meet the needs of citizens and the labor market. The administration's overarching main task is to coordinate processes to contribute to more individuals achieving sustainable self-sufficiency. The administration includes Financial Assistance, the Employment Unit, Komvux (Adult Education), and the Southern University College of Vocational Education.

The Employment Unit is responsible for the municipality's labor market policy measures. Our overarching task is to help job-seeking municipal residents get jobs through various preparations, coaching, and job trials. We focus on those who are far from the labor market and constantly work with method and organizational development. Our goal is to tailor different solutions so that our participants can move on to studies or work as quickly as possible.
