Your upcoming role

We are looking for two payroll administrators who want to take on a key role in our organization with responsibility for processes and development within the payroll area. In addition to regular payroll administrative work, you will be responsible for ensuring correct and efficient payroll management, and also be responsible for driving the development of processes, routines, and systems within the payroll area. An opportunity to combine specialist knowledge with business development.

In this role, you function as a specialist and support for both managers, HR, and finance, and contribute with expert knowledge within payroll, labor law, and collective agreements. You will also work together with other business developers within HR on several development issues.

The position is located in the Digital HR and Payroll Service unit, and you will become part of a team of 15 people in total, of whom 9 people primarily work with payroll matters.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the payroll process from start to finish.
  • Ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and correct reporting to authorities.
  • Interpret and apply laws, collective agreements, and internal guidelines.
  • Be the system owner or superuser for the payroll system and related HR systems.
  • Handle major processes within the payroll area such as year-end processing, payroll audits, and vacation reconciliations.
  • Identify, drive, and implement improvement and digitalization initiatives within the payroll area.
  • Develop and document routines, processes, and working methods.
  • Participate in projects related to system development, integrations, and business changes.
  • Act as an advisor and competence support to managers, HR, and finance.
  • Follow changes in legislation and ensure that the business operates according to current regulations.

Expectations of the candidate

We are looking for you who have:

  • Post-secondary education in payroll, economics, HR, or equivalent.
  • Several years of experience in qualified and independent payroll work.
  • Good knowledge of labor law, tax legislation, social security, and collective agreements.
  • Experience in developing, streamlining, and quality-assuring payroll processes.
  • Very good system proficiency and experience with modern payroll and HR systems.
  • Good analytical skills and experience working with reporting and follow-up.

It is meritorious if you have experience with:

  • Project management or change management.
  • System implementations or system replacements.
  • Automation and digitalization of administrative processes.
  • Work in larger or complex organizations.
  • System experience in SD Worx Pay.
