To our client, a global leader in the manufacturing of trucks and buses, SJR is now hiring a Unit Accounting Responsible for one of the client's accounting units. The company is located in modern premises in Södertälje with good transport connections. This is a consultancy assignment initially for 6 months, starting on August 17th. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity to extend the assignment. We are looking for you who want to take on a consultancy position with a pension plan according to the collective agreement.

About the role

The role of Unit Accounting Responsible involves tasks such as bank and account reconciliations, ongoing bookkeeping, as well as closing and group reporting. The role also entails actively driving improvements within the accounting and reporting areas through projects and other improvement groups, where it is important to translate needs into clear goals and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Reconciliations and closing work
• Monthly group reporting
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Efficiency work and process development

Suitable background

We believe you have some form of post-secondary education in economics and approximately 3–5 years of experience in similar tasks. You must speak and write fluent Swedish and English, and be proficient in Excel. Experience with the business systems Oracle or SAP S/4HANA is highly meritorious.
