We are looking for a confident and independent accountant for a six-month consulting assignment, starting immediately. The assignment is located at an insurance company in a scale-up phase. The company is in a strong expansion phase and is already established on several European markets.
This is a bridging solution while waiting for a new permanent accountant to be recruited. The role reports to the company's Head of Finance, and you will become part of a small but knowledgeable team with a good and non-hierarchical collaborative culture.
About the assignment
In this role, you are responsible for accounting in three countries and work independently on everything from ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations to supplier and customer ledgers. You also work with VAT and monthly closing, and assist with the annual financial statements. The duties also include handling expenses and receipts, as well as contact with external accounting firms abroad. Therefore, it is important that you are confident in Swedish accounting, dare to communicate in English, and thrive in collaborating in an international environment. Experience with reverse charge VAT is considered an asset. The company currently uses Microsoft Business Central as its financial system.
The company applies a hybrid work model with offices in central Stockholm.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is available immediately, has at least four years of accounting experience, and is confident in their skills. You work in a structured manner, are solution-oriented, and non-hierarchical. You thrive in an environment where a lot is happening and where you get to influence. It is important that you can take individual responsibility and collaborate closely with the team.
