We are looking for an engaged, structured, and service-oriented Administrative Assistant to the Unit for Administration and Finance within the Division for Disability, Social Psychiatry, and Elderly Care.

Your role

As an Administrative Assistant, you provide administrative support to the division. You are responsible for varied tasks and contribute to the operation functioning efficiently and with high quality.

Your tasks include, among other things, invoice processing, purchasing, mail handling, personnel administration, archive work, and secretarial duties at meetings. Other tasks related to the assignment may also occur.

The content of the assignment is based on the operation's needs and may therefore change and develop over time.

Several administrative assistants work at the unit. We collaborate closely and support each other as needed to ensure professional, efficient, and high-quality administrative support.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A high school diploma.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience of similar administrative tasks.
  • Post-secondary education that the employer considers relevant for the position.

Unit for Administration and Finance

The Unit for Administration and Finance is a unit within the authority side of the Division for Disability, Social Psychiatry, and Elderly Care. The unit was established on April 1, 2025.

The unit is led by a unit manager and consists of administrative assistants, assistance coordinators, finance handlers, business controllers (economy), and business controllers (follow-up SoL LSS).

The unit's main task is to provide support in administrative and financial processes to the authority-operating operations within the division. Some administrative support is also provided to other parts of the division. The work includes, among other things, administrative support, invoice processing, fee handling, financial follow-ups, operational follow-ups, contract follow-ups, as well as processing of travel services, national travel services, municipal housing allowance for persons with disabilities, sick pay compensation within personal assistance, and safety alarms for residents under 65 who do not have other interventions.
