The legal department consists of the Chief Legal Counsel, whom you will report to, as well as seven lawyers, two customer advisors, and two legal assistants.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice and information to the association's members via phone and email, as well as represent members in both supervisory and damage cases within the framework of the affiliated members' liability insurance.
- Disputes are primarily handled in administrative courts and the industry's alternative dispute resolution board (FRN), but may also be pursued in general courts.
- Provide members with relevant training, conduct environmental scanning, and inform about new legislation, developments in case law, and other legal news in various formats and contexts.
- Write articles for Mäklarsamfundet's digital newsletter.
We are looking for you who
Are fearless, thrive on challenges, and take initiative. Additionally, you have:
- A completed law degree and practical experience from a first full-time job in the field.
- Advanced ability to communicate professionally in Swedish and English.
- Experience in family law and claims handling at an insurance company is considered an advantage.
