Do you want to work in an international research environment where sustainability and future societal development are at the forefront? SRC is now looking for an engaged and structured HR Administrator who wants to contribute to our important operations.
SRC is a world-leading research center within resilience and sustainable development, with approximately 165 employees from around the world. Here, research, education, and collaboration meet to understand and strengthen the interaction between humans and nature.
About the role
As an HR Administrator with us, you will have a central and varied role where you work broadly within HR and personnel administration. You will become an important part of the administrative unit and serve as a support to managers, researchers, and employees in their daily work.
You will work both operationally and coordinatively, with significant personal responsibility and many contact points, especially in our international environment.
Your main responsibilities
- Administration in the HR system Primula
- Payroll accounting in close collaboration with managers, researchers, and project economists
- Conducting monthly payroll checks
- Processing HR cases, such as:
- job advertisements
- employment decisions
- salary matters
- Issuing certificates (e.g., employer and insurance certificates)
- Supporting managers and employees in personnel matters, such as:
- work permits
- insurance
- employment terms
- Monitoring fixed-term employment contracts and applying labor law
- Responsibility for practical aspects of on- and offboarding (access cards, accounts, SIM cards, etc.)
- Supporting international employees' establishment in Sweden, including contact with authorities
- Coordination and administration of visiting researchers
- Administration in connection with doctoral dissertations
- Backup for travel expenses and reimbursements, as well as contact with travel agencies
Other administrative tasks may be added.
We are looking for someone who has:
Requirements:
- Experience in HR or personnel administration, payroll administration, or similar
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Proficiency in MS Office
Merits:
- Experience with Primula and/or Varbi
- Experience from government operations
