The area is led by a regional manager and consists of three units: Assistance LSS Adults, Assistance LSS Children, and Assistance SOL. Together, we are 48 dedicated employees who work every day to provide the right support to the right person. The units are led by unit managers, and the operational work is held together by our team leaders.

Our current business lawyer is moving on to new challenges, and we are looking for you who want to take over. Here, you will have a role where you work with legal practice, contribute to a common view between the units, and provide qualified support to case handlers, team leaders, and managers in legal work.

Job Responsibilities

As a business lawyer within the disability area, your expertise will serve as support in case processing. You will read and review investigations before decisions, provide support in difficult cases, and assist in statements, both written and oral, as well as in contact with courts and legal representatives. Part of the role involves creating guidelines and information that facilitate assessments.

Your expertise will be useful in case processing and in the introduction of new case handlers, particularly regarding certain parts of investigation methodology. Your role includes identifying, analyzing, and communicating needs that the area should pay attention to from a legal perspective. You will report directly to a unit manager but work within the entire area.

Qualifications

• Competence in social law and experience working as a lawyer.
• Previous work in a politically governed organization or state authority, such as social services or the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.
• Knowledge of the social services area and experience with authority exercise under the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS).
• Good insight into current legal practice in the aforementioned areas.
• Ability to work attentively, carefully, flexibly, and solution-focused.
• Ability to work independently based on your function.
• Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
• Meritorious with experience from other operational areas within social services.
