Kramfors School includes grades 4–6 in compulsory school, adapted compulsory school for grades 1–9, and an after-school center (fritidshem). The school is centrally located in Kramfors, with good transport links and close to the town's services and nature.

We are now looking for an after-school teacher who wants to help create a safe, stimulating, and meaningful school day where the students' development, participation, and social interaction are in focus!

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an after-school teacher, you work in accordance with the school's and after-school center's governing documents, curriculum, and national goals. The activities are designed to promote students' development, security, and study environment. The position includes mentorship for students within the after-school center.

During school hours, you work with students in class, individually, or in small groups, providing support in various situations during the school day, such as in teaching, breaks, transitions between activities, and in other social contexts.

In the after-school center's activities, you, together with colleagues, are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on activities that stimulate students' learning, creativity, social development, and independence. Through a relational approach, you contribute to strengthening students' security, motivation, and participation in school.

You contribute to the school's joint development work and actively participate in systematic quality work.

Placement, grade levels, and student groups may vary during the year and between different school years based on the needs of the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you with an after-school teacher certification or other education/experience that the employer deems relevant.

We see that you:

• Have documented good collaboration skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a good ability to organize and structure your work.
• Have a solution-focused approach and a very good ability to build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
• Can adapt working methods and activities based on students' daily condition and needs, and actively contribute to a safe and positive school environment throughout the school day.
• Work from a low-affective approach and have the ability to meet students in different situations in a calm, structured, and professional manner.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

A Category B driver's license is meritorious.
