About Kramfors School

Kramfors School is centrally located in Kramfors, with close proximity to the bus and train stations. The school is a 4–6 unit with approximately 300 students and also accommodates adapted primary school grades 1–9 as well as an after-school center.

In our work with the students, we focus on health-promoting factors and the students' strengths. We see movement, breaks, and social contexts as important parts of the students' development, both academically and socially.

About the Position

We are now looking for a leisure teacher with a role as a breaktime pedagogue. 1 position.

Responsibilities

As a breaktime pedagogue at Kramfors School, you play a central role in creating a safe and well-functioning school day, with a special focus on the school's transition processes such as breaks and transitions. You lead and develop work with active breaks where students are offered meaningful and structured activities that promote movement, community, and participation. The work is done in dialogue with the students, where their influence is taken into account in the planning and development of break activities.

In the role, you work with students individually, in small groups, or in classes, based on needs related to safety, social interaction, and study environment during the school day. You plan, organize, and follow up on break activities together with colleagues, with the aim of strengthening student participation, preventing conflicts, and contributing to a positive school environment.

You work in close collaboration with teachers, work teams, and student health services to create a holistic approach to students' learning, development, and well-being. The role also includes contributing to mapping and analysis of safety, study environment, and students' social situations in the school's various environments.

You actively contribute to the school's promoting and preventive work by developing structures and working methods that strengthen safety, attendance, and study environment throughout the school day. As a breaktime pedagogue, you also participate in the school's systematic quality work, for example through follow-up of safety work, incidents, and students' experience of the school environment.

Work at the after-school center is included.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a leisure teacher certificate and experience working with children and young people in a school environment, as well as a good understanding of students' different needs.

• Have documented experience in relationship-building work
• Have very good ability to create safety, structure, and study environment in different situations during the school day
• Have good teamwork skills, high sense of responsibility, and engagement
• Work in a development-oriented and solution-focused manner
• Have a special ability to create trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• Work from a relational and low-affective approach and can meet students professionally in different situations
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language and express yourself well in speech and writing
• Have experience with digital systems for follow-up and documentation
