Gudmundrå School is a 7th–9th grade school with approximately 340 students, centrally located in Kramfors with good transport connections.

Job Description

The role as a teacher of Swedish and Social Studies includes, in addition to teaching the main subjects, mentorship together with a mentor colleague for a class of students. You will be part of a work team where we jointly work to develop, plan, and follow up on teaching based on the curriculum as well as the municipality's and the organization's goals.

We allocate time and resources for collegial learning, which takes place both in subject groups and in work teams. We strive to develop good strategies and methods to reach every student with guidance and stimulation within the framework of the teaching group. The goal is to provide students with individual support according to their conditions and needs, as well as to strengthen motivation through value-creating learning and entrepreneurship.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualifications for a primary school teacher in Swedish and social studies.

We also see that you:

• Have the ability to work independently, while also collaborating well in work teams and with the mentor colleague.
• Possess digital competence.
• Have the ability to notice the students' needs and, in consultation with colleagues, take appropriate measures to support them.
• Are a clear leader in and outside the classroom, where structure, security, and study environment permeate your leadership.

Great importance is attached to suitability and the ability to build relationships.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
