About the school:

Hedda Wisingskolan is a 7th-9th grade school with approximately 350 students and 50 employees. Our school is a place for challenges, curiosity, and learning, a place where everyone can thrive, grow, and develop, both students and staff. Here we work in work teams in very close collaboration with the student health service to enable a good holistic view of the student's studies and well-being. We are a school with a collegium of mixed ages and it has happened that three parental leaves are coming very close to each other in time.

The school works with a clear focus on international networking and has Erasmus accreditation, thereby well-funded opportunities for cooperation and exchanges with other countries, primarily within the EU. The school has very good ICT prerequisites where all students use laptops in a one-to-one solution and digital learning materials in all subjects, good access to digital support materials, and a well-functioning teacher portal for planning, communication, grades, and assessment. We have been working for a couple of years with the Swedish National Agency for Education's SKUA training for language- and knowledge-developing working methods. Job responsibilities:

The position includes necessary teaching duties. Through close collaboration with teaching colleagues, resource persons, the student health team, and school management, you contribute to creating a context characterized by stability, security, and structure. Together, you work to promote students' learning, strengthen their self-esteem, and create motivation for continued studies.

We are now looking for a permanent position in Mathematics / Natural Sciences, although the combination Mathematics / English is also interesting.

Here you will work primarily towards one grade level, but you may also have individual classes/groups in other grade levels.

For a permanent employment, we are looking for you who have (requirements):

• Teacher qualification / teacher certification in the subjects Math and Science and/or English.
• Good ability to use digital tools.

Meritorious if you:

• Have previous experience in the profession.
• Are familiar with the goals of the curriculum and steering documents.

Recruitment and start date

Selection and interviews may take place continuously. Therefore, you may be contacted before the application deadline depending on subject competencies among applicants. Start date January to March by agreement, and depending on subject combination. The position will be filled if necessary decisions are made.
