We are now looking for you, a qualified special needs teacher (specialpedagog), who wants to become part of our team within Örnsköldsvik Municipality.

Responsibilities

As a special needs teacher with us, within Örnsköldsvik Municipality, you will play a central role in the development work of the preschool. Currently, you will be based in the Anundsjö area.

You will work systematically and long-term to support children's learning and development, both at the individual and group levels. The assignment includes, among other things:

• Guidance and support to educators in daily work.
• Pedagogical assessments.
• Active participation in the preschool's child health services.
• A driving role in preventive and promotional work.
• Contributing to the preschool's development through analysis and reflection.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a degree as a special needs teacher.

Experience from the profession and familiarity with working in an outer area across multiple units are meritorious.

We value good teamwork skills, professional attitude, and knowledge of preschool working methods. You should thrive in both team settings and when working independently with drive.

Since a key part of the job is collaborating with the management team for the preschools in the area, personal suitability is significant.

You must have a valid driver's license (Category B) and your own car to use in the position.

We appreciate language skills in Finnish and/or any of the Sami varieties, as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both the Finnish and Sami administrative areas.

Some positions in our municipality are classified for security reasons, so a security clearance may be required. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
