Our Pedagogy

We are "Barnens förskola" (The Children's Preschool), as the name suggests. Our pedagogy is inspired by Montessori and is based on the children, their interests, and their developmental level. All activities are based on the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for preschool, Lpfö18. Everything we do has a purpose and a pedagogical thought. We know that children can do incredibly much and that they can do it themselves. We support, encourage, and guide the children to manage as much as possible on their own.

We focus heavily on our learning environments, which are built on our trust in the children's competence. All materials are accessible to the children and have their specific place, so that the children themselves can take them out and put them away when they are finished. Our learning environments are also constantly changing. This is partly to maintain the children's desire to explore, experience, and learn by having inviting and exciting environments, and partly because the children's interests change, which forms the basis for the design. We believe in a playful approach.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an engaged, curious, and qualified preschool teacher who wants to develop the preschool and is well-versed in the preschool curriculum. As a preschool teacher, you, together with the work team, are responsible for the pedagogical teaching and for creating conditions for joyful learning based on the preschool curriculum.

You have the desire to try and develop new working methods, as well as the ability to engage the children in educational and creative teaching in collaboration with the work team and in dialogue with guardians. We are looking for preschool teachers who believe that children can achieve much if educators provide them with opportunities and challenges. Our work is characterized by clear respect for the individual and good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues.

Qualifications

You are a qualified/authorized preschool teacher and have good collaboration skills, are service-oriented, and are accustomed to working with quality awareness towards children, colleagues, and guardians. You can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
