Music Teacher for Kramfors Culture School and Primary School

Kramfors Culture School has for several years been responsible for the curriculum-driven music education in all of the municipality's schools. We are now looking for two music teachers for the primary school for class teaching, combined with assignments for the culture school's voluntary part. We offer an stimulating work environment focused on creating musical joy and a safe place for our students to grow and develop.

Job Description

As a music teacher, you work with both class teaching in primary school and the culture school's voluntary courses. You are an important part of the school's music education, which follows the guidelines of the curriculum, and are responsible for inspiring and guiding students in their musical development. Teaching in primary school takes place in small groups of up to 16 students, giving you the opportunity to work closely with students and create a creative and inclusive learning environment.

The role also includes planning and conducting lessons in collaboration with colleagues, as well as being part of an engaged teaching team where collaboration and team spirit are highly valued. The culture school consists of approximately 16 teachers who work together to give students a positive and developmental experience of music and art.

The role of music teacher may be combined with instrument teaching at the culture school. There, you will contribute to the culture school's projects, concerts, and other events, where you will have the opportunity to develop both the students' and your own creativity.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teacher's degree with a focus on music education for primary school and a teaching license that gives you the eligibility to teach in this area. You also need to have a B driver's license, as this is a requirement for the position. Experience in teaching more than one instrument is seen as advantageous.
