About the operations:

Hedda Wising School is a 7–9-year school with approximately 350 students and 50 employees. The organization also includes Hedda Wising Resource School, which is a resource school for students with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF).

Our school is a place for challenges, curiosity, and learning – a place where everyone can thrive, grow, and develop, both students and staff. Here we work in teams in very close collaboration with the student health service to enable a good holistic view of the student's studies and well-being. We are a school with a collegium of mixed ages with very good qualification levels.

The school works with a clear focus on international networking and has Erasmus accreditation, thereby providing well-funded opportunities for cooperation and exchanges with other countries, primarily within the EU. Several well-established collaborations with Spain exist. The school has very good ICT prerequisites where all students use laptops in a one-to-one solution and digital learning materials in all subjects. We have good access to digital support materials and a well-functioning teacher portal for planning, communication, grades, and assessment. We have worked for several years with the Swedish National Agency for Education's SKUA training for language and knowledge-developing approaches. Job responsibilities:

The teacher assistant role includes teaching at Hedda Wising Resource School and in the special needs group (SU), under supervision. Through close collaboration with teacher colleagues, other resource persons, the student health team, and school management, you contribute to creating a context characterized by stability, security, and structure. Together, you work to promote students' learning, strengthen their self-esteem, and create motivation for continued studies.

We are now looking for 5 teacher assistants, of which 2 are permanent positions and 3 are temporary positions. One of the permanent positions is at Hedda Wising Resource School and the SU group, and one is in Hedda Wising School's main organization for regular classes. The three temporary positions vary in length between one and three terms. All temporary positions are primarily directed towards Hedda Wising Resource School and the SU group.

We are looking for you who have (mandatory requirements):

• You must have experience working with students with NPF/autism.
• The permanent position at the resource school includes competence in Science/Mathematics (NO/Ma), as you will be a key person in the support and teaching in Mathematics and Science subjects.
• Good ability to use digital tools.

Meritorious if you:

• Have previous experience in the profession.
• Have experience working with varying work situations with students and young people.

Scope

The positions are ongoing positions. Full-time, daytime.

Recruitment and start date

Selection and interviews may take place on an ongoing basis. You may therefore be contacted before the last application date depending on experience and competencies among applicants. Start date at the beginning of the term, preferably August 11, 2025, or according to agreement. The position will be filled if necessary decisions are made.
