Job Responsibilities

Teaching within the focus area of trucks and mobile machinery (heavy mechanic) in the vehicle programme, as well as mentoring your teaching group, are the prioritized tasks.

The responsibilities also include contact with the industry to secure internship placements and follow-up of students during their work-integrated learning (APL). You are responsible for planning and conducting teaching in relevant courses, both individually and in collaboration with other teachers.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have experience as a vehicle mechanic or equivalent knowledge in trucks and mobile/heavy machinery, and possess good theoretical and practical knowledge within your professional field. Having a vocational teacher diploma, supervisor training, or experience as a supervisor in the industry is meritorious.

A Category B driver's license is required. A Category C driver's license is meritorious.
