Within the Child and Education Administration, our approximately 3,000 employees meet with around 14,000 children and students at more than 100 preschools and schools throughout the municipality every day. Every child and student in Sundsvall Municipality's preschools and schools should be able to develop, learn, and reach their goals based on their own prerequisites. Every student should leave school with the desire, knowledge, and good conditions to meet adult life and the future.

Your new workplace

Hellbergsskolan is a municipal primary school located in the district of Skönsberg. Approximately 220 students attend grades F-6 at the school. The school also has an after-school center (fritidshem) with approximately 120 students. The operations take place in modern and newly renovated premises with good opportunities for varied and effective teaching methods. There is an adapted primary school connected to the school. We are looking for you who are convinced that staff who cooperate and care for each other will also offer a fantastic operation for the students.

At Hellbergsskolan, we know that staff who are well also ensure that the students are well. Our ambition is to offer the best possible education and teaching for the students attending Hellbergsskolan. We constantly strive to develop both ourselves and the operations, and we dare to fail and try new ways of working. Hellbergsskolan works for high accessibility, meaning that the pedagogical, social, and physical environment should function for all students regardless of needs and abilities.

We strive to be at the forefront regarding adaptations and support for our students. We start grading from grade 4. You who are offered the position will be met by friendly colleagues who support each other and have a strong desire to cooperate. We have a high staff density and small student groups.

How you contribute in the role of teacher

Teacher for lower secondary school (grades 4-6), with mentor responsibility for approx. 10 students.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who are trained as a primary school teacher, with eligibility in Swedish, English, Art, and/or Music. Other subject combinations can be discussed. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Good to know

Salary: Monthly salary/hourly salary. Individual and differentiated salary setting is applied.

Conditions: Salary replacements in addition to the monthly salary follow the applicable collective agreement. Central collective agreements can be found on the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions' website, www.skr.se.

Collective agreement: HÖK 25.
