Job Description

Your task will be to lead and drive the pedagogical work in the after-school center together with other educators, based on the curriculum and other governing documents.

As a teacher in the after-school center, you will have an important role in daily operations. With a conscious approach, you will enable children to discover and develop their abilities in a comprehensive way. A key part of the job is ensuring that all children are seen and feel that they have a clear place at the school and the after-school center.

You are responsible for providing children with a learning environment that is educational, challenging, meaningful, creative, and exciting. Together with your colleagues, you will engage in a continuous pedagogical dialogue with the desire to change, deepen, and develop.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a license as an after-school educator (fritidspedagog) or a teacher with a specialization in after-school centers.

We would prefer that you have previous experience working with groups of children. You have a positive attitude and an interest in developing work methods as well as spreading knowledge and experience to colleagues.

In our municipality, several positions are classified for security reasons, so a security clearance may be required. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
