Höglandskolan is beautifully located by Höglandsjön and offers activities from pre-school class to grade 6, as well as an after-school center, with approximately 400 students. We strive for a salutogenic approach where everyone is expected to contribute their competencies.

Job Responsibilities

As a special education teacher, you will work together with the school's two special educators. The role involves identifying, analyzing, and working with students in need of support, conducting pedagogical assessments, as well as planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching and support measures.

The position also entails coordinating and supervisory responsibilities for teachers and resource teachers.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a license as a special education teacher or special educator and who enjoy taking personal responsibility while also appreciating the strength in working together with others.

We welcome knowledge of Finnish and/or any of the Sami varieties as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both the Finnish and Sami administrative areas.

In our municipality, a number of positions are classified for security, so security clearance may be required. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
