Within the Child and Education Administration, our approximately 3,000 employees interact with around 14,000 children and students at more than 100 preschools and schools across the municipality every day. Every child and student in Sundsvall's preschools and schools should be able to develop, learn, and reach their goals based on their own prerequisites. Every student should leave school with the desire, knowledge, and good conditions to meet adult life and the future.

Your new workplace

Teacher in German 50% at Nivrena Unit. The Nivrena Unit is an F-9 organization consisting of the school units Essvik and Solede, with lower and middle school, and Nivrena, with middle and upper school. The school's vision is "When students leave the Nivrena Unit, they are well prepared for the future." We are now looking for an engaged and inspiring teacher in German for teaching in grades 6-9. The position is 50%. As a teacher with us, you will have the opportunity to awaken students' interest in language and culture and contribute to their communicative skills and confidence in German.

How you contribute in the role of a modern language teacher

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in German according to the current curriculum.
• Adapt teaching based on students' different needs and prerequisites.
• Assess and document students' knowledge development.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and guardians to promote students' development and goal achievement.
• Contribute to the school's joint development work.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who:

• Have a teaching license with eligibility to teach German for grades 6-9.
• Have good knowledge of the school's steering documents and pedagogical working methods.
• Are clear, secure, and relationship-building in your leadership.
• Have good collaboration skills and a professional approach.
• Are engaged, flexible, and want to contribute to the school's continued development.

Salary: Individual and differentiated salary setting is applied.

Conditions: Salary payments in addition to the monthly salary follow the applicable collective agreement. Central collective agreements can be found on the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions' website, www.skr.se
