Prolympia is Sweden's leading sports school at the primary school level, with operations from Gothenburg in the south to Umeå in the north. Prolympia Sundsvall's F-6 operations are located in a scenic area in Haga, close to outdoor recreation areas, Baldershov's athletics stadium, and Norrmalm's football stadium. Our 7-9 operations are centrally located at the Neptunus block in Stenstan. Here, we offer a 'school in motion' focusing on knowledge, safety, sports, and health for students from preschool class to grade nine.

Responsibilities

We are increasing the teacher density in grades 4-6 to achieve higher results related to goal achievement, as well as study environment and safety. In your role, you will teach in grade 4. In your daily work, you plan the teaching, prepare lessons, and document student development. You actively work to stimulate all students to develop their knowledge and have the ability to adapt teaching to promote learning and good academic results. You are part of a work team where you have the opportunity daily to exchange experiences, thoughts, and ideas that can improve your teaching and contribute to school development. The role includes being a mentor for a class.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have adequate teacher education with the qualification to teach Swedish and Social Studies (SO) or Math and Natural Sciences (NO) up to grade 6. You have current experience of teaching in primary school. We believe that as a teacher, based on research and proven experience, you have shown a particularly good ability to develop your subject with a focus on didactic questions, as well as a particularly good ability to contribute to the school's development and actively worked to promote collegial learning.
