Prolympia is Sweden's leading sports school at the primary level, with operations from Gothenburg in the south to Umeå in the north. Prolympia in Sundsvall, covering grades F-6, is beautifully located in Haga, close to outdoor recreation areas, Baldershov's athletics stadium, and Norrmalm's football stadium. The 7-9 grades are centrally located at the Neptunus block in Stenstan. Here, we offer a school in motion focusing on knowledge, safety, sports, and health for students from preschool class to grade nine.

We are looking for an engaged and reliable resource person who wants to make a difference in a student's school day.

The assignment involves providing individual support to a student with autism and other neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPD). You will be a key support in the student's learning, social development, and ability to handle various school situations, including transitions.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the student during the school day based on individual needs.
• Contribute to structure, predictability, and safety in the school environment.
• Support the student's communication, social interaction, and independence.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, student health services, and guardians.
• Adapt working methods and approach based on the student's conditions.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children and young people with autism and other NPD diagnoses.
• Has a good understanding of low-affective interaction and inclusive working methods.
• Is calm, clear, flexible, and relationship-building.
• Has the ability to create structure and predictability.
• Sees the student's strengths and opportunities and works to promote independence and participation.

Experience from school or educational activities is meritorious.
