Höga Kusten Teoretiska Gymnasium is an independent upper secondary school located in the heart of Örnsköldsvik, right by the harbor and close to the travel center with good transport connections. Since our founding in 2009, we have offered education within the Natural Science program, the Social Science program, and the Economics program.

About the position

We are now looking for a mathematics teacher for Höga Kusten Teoretiska Gymnasium to teach Mathematics 1c according to the Gy25 curriculum.

The position is a fixed-term appointment during the autumn term of 2026, starting at the beginning of the term and running until Christmas. The teaching concerns a slightly smaller group in Mathematics 1c, where the course is taken at a faster pace and therefore concludes by Christmas.

The teaching takes place within the framework of the Natural Science program. Since the group is slightly smaller, there are good opportunities to work closely with the students, follow their knowledge development, and adapt the teaching to the group's needs. At the same time, the faster pace requires clarity, structure, and good planning.

We are looking for you who are a qualified mathematics teacher, or alternatively have other relevant competence and experience of teaching at the upper secondary level. You need to be confident in the classroom, clear in your teaching, and have the ability to create structure, engagement, and good relationships with the students.
