Our school is located in a quiet residential area just outside the center of Örnsköldsvik. We are a training school for Umeå University and regularly welcome student teachers to our school. Our team working with classes in grades F-3 is a competent group that can offer you a welcoming atmosphere with the student's best interests at the forefront. Together, we develop our unit to offer teaching of the highest quality.

The position is a temporary assignment lasting from 2026-08-12 to 2027-02-09 at 100%.

Responsibilities

We are now looking for reinforcement to our team. In the work team, duties as a mentor, subject teacher, or resource teacher vary and are distributed. The role involves planning, implementing, and following up on teaching individually and together with the work team. In addition, this includes the documentation and contacts required regarding the students you work with. Collaboration and contact with guardians is an important part of the work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teacher's degree and subject competence for grades F-3.

We are looking for someone who likes to be challenged and think new thoughts, has broad digital competence, and sees differences and diversity as a foundation for learning and development. You are a secure adult and a clear leader in the classroom. To be a role model and create a good atmosphere in the student group and work team is second nature to you.

We would appreciate it if you have experience leading group processes, the ability to create structure, and the ability to adapt teaching based on the needs of the group and individuals. You are receptive, take responsibility, are engaged, and creative.
