For those new to the profession, Örnsköldsvik Municipality offers an induction program for new teachers. During your first year, you will be assigned a mentor—an experienced teacher with the same subject qualification—who will guide and support you.
Responsibilities
You will teach in Year 2 and have overall responsibility for the student group. This involves managing the documentation and contacts associated with the role, where contact and cooperation with guardians is a key part of the job. You will work together with a team to plan, implement, and follow up on teaching.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with a teaching degree and qualification for Years F-3. We seek someone who enjoys challenges, thinks innovatively, and sees differences and diversity as a foundation for learning and development. You are a confident adult and a clear leader in the classroom. Being a role model and creating a good atmosphere in the student group and among colleagues is second nature to you.
We would appreciate it if you have experience leading group processes, the ability to create structure, and the ability to adapt teaching to the needs of the group and individuals. You are receptive, take responsibility, are engaged, and creative.
