Within the Child and Education Administration, our approximately 3,000 employees interact with around 14,000 children and students at more than 100 preschools and schools across the municipality every day. Every child and student in Sundsvall's preschools and schools should be able to develop, learn, and reach their goals based on their own prerequisites. Every student should leave school with the desire, knowledge, and good conditions to meet adult life and the future.

Your new workplace

Kyrkmon School is located in the residential area of Njurunda, approximately 1.5 miles south of Sundsvall's center. Here, approximately 300 students attend school from preschool class to grade 6. How you contribute in the role of teacher

You will plan and conduct teaching for grades F-3. The position includes contact and follow-up with guardians. In addition to teaching and associated planning, you are expected to be able to conduct screenings for students in grades F-3, in collaboration with other parts of the student health service. You are accustomed to working with leadership and stimulation at the group level in the classroom. You collaborate with your colleagues and operate from a "we" perspective. Experience with a cooperative working method is an advantage.

Your competence and experience

You need to be a certified teacher with teaching experience from the earlier years of primary school, i.e., grades 1-6. As a person, you are relationship-building and have an easy time building trusting relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible and have the ability to adapt to different situations and the needs of the operation. You work in a structured manner and are meticulous in planning, implementing, and continuously evaluating your teaching. In this way, you actively contribute to developing both the pedagogical work and the operation as a whole.

Good to know

Salary: Monthly/hourly salary. Individual and differentiated salary setting is applied.

Conditions: Salary supplements beyond the monthly salary follow the applicable collective agreement. Central collective agreements can be found on the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions website, www.skr.se
