About Skarpåkers School

Approximately 300 students attend Skarpåkers School, distributed across preschool class, grades 1–3, and the leisure center (fritidshem). Teaching takes place in age-segregated classes with three to four classes per grade level. The school is located 1 km from Kramfors center, close to nature. Nearby excursions spots include playgrounds and forests. The municipality's sports field is nearby, offering exciting challenges and is used both during school hours and leisure time.

To create a good learning environment for the students, teachers, preschool teachers, and leisure center staff collaborate across different activity forms. The staff is organized into work teams, where teaching and leisure center staff for each age group are included.

The leisure center activities aim to give children a meaningful free time by supporting their development, practicing creativity, and strengthening the ability to take responsibility for themselves and others. Participation and free play are important parts of the leisure center activities.

We are now looking for a Leisure Center Teacher!

Responsibilities

As a leisure center teacher, you work based on the leisure center's mission to stimulate students' development and learning in collaboration with the school's activities. Based on the curriculum, you follow the red thread between the leisure center's and the school's pedagogical planning. Together, we want to create an activity that meets the needs of our students and their parents in the best way possible.

Your responsibilities include planning and leading teaching at the leisure center together with the leisure center staff. You will be part of a work team. In your role, you also have close collaboration with class teachers, with the aim of complementing each other's competencies. You are a key person in seeing the whole picture for students who are both in school and at the leisure center. The leisure center is often the beginning and end of the student's day.

Opening and closing the leisure center is included in the responsibilities.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated and licensed as a leisure center teacher or a teacher for younger age groups with a focus on the leisure center.

We see that you:

• Have experience in development work within the leisure center and have great commitment and precision to carry out quality work within the leisure center.
• Possess good structural and strategic skills and have a holistic perspective on the development of leisure centers.
• Have good leadership qualities and enjoy working together with others in a team.
• Have IT skills, both in your own work and in working with the students' learning environment and their various learning tools in our activities.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, Start date: Start date according to agreement.
