Skorpeds Preschool is a small, nature-oriented preschool located approximately 5 miles outside of Örnsköldsvik. The preschool is housed in the same building as the school and collaborates closely with both the school and the after-school center.

Thanks to its scenic location, the preschool offers fantastic opportunities for outdoor activities and nature-based living, encouraging movement and learning in nature.

Responsibilities

Your role will be to lead and drive the pedagogical work at the preschool together with other educators, based on the curriculum and other governing documents.

As a preschool teacher, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the preschool. With a conscious approach, you will enable children to discover and develop their abilities in a comprehensive manner. A crucial part of the job is ensuring that all children are seen and feel that they have a clear place at the preschool.

You are responsible for providing children with a learning environment that is educational, challenging, meaningful, creative, and exciting. Together with your colleagues, you will engage in an ongoing pedagogical dialogue with the desire to change, deepen, and develop the work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a preschool teacher and are therefore eligible for licensure. We would appreciate it if you had previous experience working with children in groups.

You have a positive attitude and an interest in developing work methods, as well as spreading knowledge and experiences to colleagues.
