About the job

In the role of teaching assistant/resource staff, you will work targeted support towards a student with diabetes, as well as with other students and in whole-class settings during the school day. In the afternoons, you will participate with the rest of the leisure time staff in activities at the after-school care, with a special focus on the individual student with diabetes.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who enjoys the school environment, likes to collaborate, and has a calm, clear, and respectful approach towards children and young people. Experience from similar assignments is desirable, but you do not need to know everything from the start. You should have a willingness to learn, try new things, and take responsibility for your assignment.

We want you to:

• have completed upper secondary education
• be able to express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• have good teamwork skills and enjoy working in a team
• be confident, stable, and clear in interactions with students in various situations

It is an advantage if you:

• have experience working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF)
• have experience with self-care for children with diabetes
