Job Coach Wanted – Hourly/Part-Time Position

Do you want to help people get closer to work and education?

We are now looking for an engaged and professional Job Coach for an hourly or part-time position at our operations in Stockholm. We work with labor market initiatives and are looking for you who want to make a difference by supporting job seekers on their path to self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities

As a job coach, you will:

• Conduct individual coaching and guidance sessions.
• Draw up action plans together with participants.
• Assist participants with CVs, cover letters, and job applications.
• Prepare participants for employment interviews.
• Match participants with vacant positions and training programs.
• Establish and develop contacts with employers.
• Document activities and monitor participants' progress.
• Work towards set goals and results.

Qualifications

To work as a job coach within the Swedish Public Employment Service's service Rusta och Matcha 2 (ROM2), you must meet one of the following alternatives:

Alternative 1

• At least 180 higher education credits (120 credits under the previous system) or equivalent foreign education.
• At least two (2) years of work experience of at least 50% during the last five (5) years.

Alternative 2

• At least one (1) year of post-secondary full-time education.
• At least three (3) years of work experience of at least 50% during the last five (5) years.

Preferred Experience

We would like you to have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Labor market initiatives and matching.
• Rusta och Matcha, KROM, or similar services.
• Recruitment and staffing.
• Study and career guidance.
• HR and personnel work.
• Coaching and guidance.
• Sales or employer contacts.
• Authority work or social work.

Personal Attributes

We are looking for someone who is:

• Committed to helping people achieve their goals.

Language Skills

Requirements:

• Good Swedish in speech and writing.

Preferred:

• English.
• Arabic.
• Somali.
• Tigrinya or other languages in demand on the labor market.
