Kålltorpsskolan is a large and popular school with approximately 45 employees and 420 students in grades 7–9. The school is a place for learning where every student is valued and important. Kålltorpsskolan has a high number of certified teachers, which is something we place great value on. The school is located in a quiet and pleasant residential area bordering the beautiful nature of the Delsjö Nature Reserve.

Job Responsibilities

Kålltorpsskolan is currently looking for a teacher with competence in mathematics, natural sciences (NO), and technology. As a teacher, you will be part of a work team with a team leader who represents the team in meetings with the management and the deputy principal, who are your direct supervisors. Subject-specific work also takes place at subject conferences, which are led jointly and often have a lead teacher.

You will join a work team with teachers for grades 7–9. Together with your colleagues, you will create conditions for students' knowledge development and for achieving the goals set out in the curricula. You will jointly be responsible for planning, documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' development. Your common goal is to design a joyful and varied school day with the students' best interests at the forefront.

The role also involves collaboration with professionals within student health services, other staff, and external actors.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for you who are a certified teacher in mathematics and natural sciences for grades 7–9. Previous experience in similar roles is meritorious.

You are well-versed in the school's governing documents and have the ability to work with the school's three operational areas: knowledge and learning, teaching quality, and safety and participation. We see you as solution-oriented, flexible, and possessing good collaboration skills with students, guardians, and colleagues. By showing interest and creating understanding for others, you contribute to a respectful work climate. You understand the common mission and wish to contribute to the whole.
